New Day Diagnostics
During the summer, I interned at New Day Diagnostics, which was formed through a merger between New Day Diagnostics and EDP Biotech. This company specializes in laboratory and contract research organization (CRO) services, developing medical diagnostic devices and tests for various industries. In addition to offering services, they maintain a diverse portfolio of products covering oncology, infectious diseases, digestive diseases, and women's health. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, New Day Diagnostics employs approximately 29 professionals.

Creating a Go-To-Market Strategy
The main focus of my internship was to create a GTM strategy for two oncology products assigned to me by the company. Both of these products were in the ideation phase and so I started with learning how the technology would work and finished with identifying potential reimbursement and insurance coverage for the products.

The Buyers Journey
During downtime, I explored the journey customers take that ultimately leads them to buying a specific product. This board journey was then applied to the specific products I was looking into, in order identify the target audience and develop ways to create effective marketing for that demographic.

Article Generation for Marketing Team
A few weeks during the internship, I was tasked with writing some articles for the marketing team. The first article was about the connection between gut health, IBD and colorectal cancer. This article followed a similar format to a literature review. The second article was about the main aspects of clinical trials, to act as a guide to those who might be unfamiliar with them.
