New Day Diagnostics

Over the summer, I worked as a project managements intern at New Day Diagnostics. The current New Day Diagnostics is the result of a merger between New Day Diagnostics and EDP Biotech. The company provides laboratory and CRO services to create medical diagnostics devices and testing for companies. They also have their own portfolio of products ranging from oncology, infectious diseases, digestive diseases, and women's health. The company is headquartered in Nashville Tennessee and they current have about 29 employees.

Creating a Go-To-Market Strategy

The main focus of my internship was to create a GTM strategy for two oncology products assigned to me by the company. Both of these products were in the ideation phase and so I started with learning how the technology would work and finished with identifying potential reimbursement and insurance coverage for the products.

The Buyers Journey

During downtime, I explored the journey customers take that ultimately leads them to buying a specific product. This board journey was then applied to the specific products I was looking into, in order identify the target audience and identify ways to create effective marketing for that demographic.

Article Generation for Marketing Team

A few weeks during the internship, I was tasked with writing some articles for the marketing team. The first article was about the connection between gut health, IBD and colorectal cancer. This article followed a similar format to a literature review. The second article was about the main aspects of clinical trials, to act as a guide to those who might be unfamiliar with them.
